St. Andrew's New Slate Roof

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Denver is affectionately called by its parishioners "the most patient building." Designed by Ralph Adams Cram and built in 1908, the church has weathered ups and downs in the size of its congregation, the size of its budget, a fire, a flood, and the general wear and tear that comes with having stood for almost a century. For Sacred Places
Certainly those who help with the daunting task of managing a sacred place know the hours of sacrifice it takes to tend to both the needs of the congregation as well as the needs of the building that holds that congregation. Unfortunately, many times meeting the great needs of the congregation may mean sacrificing the needs of the building, or at least deferring them to a later time. We've also prepared numerous technical articles that can provide you with guidance regarding how to help maintain and restore your sacred place.
