Trinity
United Methodist Church Shares Today to Change Tomorrow
Trinity United Methodist Church stands at the corner
of 18th and Broadway as a prominent and long-time Denver landmark.
To say the church" stands," however, is erroneous. Trinity's
114-year-old walls, made of richly textured rhyolite, decorative
sandstone, and vibrant stained glass, house a 143-year-old growing
and thriving congregation. With 400 new members since 2000, Trinity
UMC is currently one of the fastest growing congregations in Methodism's

Loyola’s
Preservation Story
The
congregation of the 1924, Gothic, St. Ignatius Loyola Church on the
corner of 23rd and York has spearheaded a grassroots restoration
effort of their building. As the building needed maintenance and repairs
over the years, the congregation did not have the funds to provide
the service. In a sense, they felt guilty spending their money on
the physical condition of the church when their resources were needed
for their school and community outreach programs. Read
