The Mission Revival building was built in 1921 just north of City Park. The church serves a diverse community of Latinos, Caucasians, and African Americans. The church provides an English and math tutoring program, a "Feed the Hungry" program, Boy Scouts and Acorn. The Alphonse-Robinson African American Music Association meets once a month at the church and the Jubilation Singers rehearse there frequently. The church hosts a Choir Feast in October, where choirs from other churches gather and sing.
