Sacred
Landmarks Preservation
Sacred Landmarks Preservation is a program of Historic Denver
which serves to preserve historic sacred places and the community
services they provide.
The
Molly Brown House Museum
The Molly Brown House Museum sits on land which was first
platted in 1868 as part of the John W. Smith Addition to Denver.
Today, the Molly Brown House Museum is a major tourist attraction
in the state. Each year approximately 40,000 people visit the house
to learn about the lifestyle enjoyed by Victorian Denver's upper-middle
class and gain a glimpse into the life of Denver's unsinkable lady.
