Really interesting to and most of the items in the house are original. It’s clear that there has been an enormous amount of research done to make this authentic, and our guide presented the highlights in engaging way that show what an unusual, interesting and socially aware person Margaret was

Will was very knowledgeable as well as entertaining. We now are much better informed about Denver and its history. The walk was the perfect length. We enjoyed the stories about the people who founded Denver. A great way to spend a couple of hours.

Thank you, Kim for the wonderful tour of Capitol Hill. Your knowledge of the history and architecture is remarkable. I thoroughly enjoyed the stories about the original families of the Capitol Hill mansions. I highly recommend this tour with this outfit.

We took the capitol hill history (and architecture) tour on 5-27-23. Our tour leader was Kim. She was well prepared and gave us an excellent history of various houses and the early Denverites who built and inhabited them, along with the development of Denver in the mid 19th to early 20th centuries. This is the best art/history/architecture tour we have ever taken; it lasted well over the 1-1/2 hour allotted. We cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

Wonderful (new) tour and Joan was a great guide. The tour itself was easy walking & easily accessible by public transport. Joan provided plenty of information about Patrica Swan, architecture and history of Denver’s changing skyline. Great even for Denver natives! Thanks Joan!

We loved the Holiday Lights Tour with Rachel. She was informative and enthusiastic. This was our first trip to Denver and we learned so much about the city from this tour, which we did on our first night in town. We believe our trip would not have been as enjoyable had we not taken this tour. We went back to several of the places we saw on the tour.

I have lived in the Denver area for forty years and saw places I had never seen and beautiful architecture I had missed. We had out of town guests and they were equally impressed. The docents were friendly and wonderfully informative. There were many wow moments, especially when we went inside the Art Deco bar of the Oxford Hotel. I would definitely take other visitors and will recommend the tour to locals!

My adult sons (ages 18 & 22) are history buffs. They thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour I enjoyed spending time with my boys, getting some exercise, enjoying the beautiful weather, visiting with the other folks on tour, and especially learning from the two knowledgeable, delightful volunteers leading the tour!

These tours are so very interesting. The Docents who lead these tours are very well informed, friendly and obviously love what they do. My friend and I have been on about five Denver Historic Tours and we look forward to them every Summer. To see the historic buildings and hear about the history of our city is a privilege.

I recently brought a small group of Denver area undergraduate students to do a tour of LoDo. Historic Denver and the excellent guide did a wonderful job adjusting the tour to the topic of the course. I highly recommend this tour not only for those from out of town, but also Denver area residents.
