TABOR CENTER
The Tabor Center was built in 1984 and sits on the site of the Tabor Block, one of the first developments to grow Denver past Larimer Street and down 16th. Horace Tabor completed the building in 1879 and it stood until 1973. The current Tabor Center kept the name of the early Colorado prospector and business man. It was designed by Urban Design Group and Kohn Pedersen Fox and incorporates an office tower, hotel, and retail along 16th St from Larimer to Arapahoe.
