Your City, Our Mission
We believe historic assets are a key ingredient of any great city — just like parks, streets and schools. Historic Denver is actively engaged every day with community members, property owners, neighborhoods and partners to find creative solutions for the places where growth and preservation meet. Through advocacy, educational experiences, and technical support, we help tell the stories of our city through its places.
Experience Historic Denver
Explore a historic neighborhood on our walking tours. Take a guided tour or see an exhibit at our Molly Brown House Museum. Attend a forum to discuss current preservation topics. Volunteer for our Discover Denver survey to learn about our city’s unique buildings. Through our extensive events and programs, you’ll learn the full story of our city’s past and the challenges and opportunities for its historic places today.
Saving Places
Our expertise and resources can help you care for your historic property or launch your community preservation project.. Our Action Fund catalyzes innovative community projects that enhance Denver’s authentic flavor. Follow our current issues page for the latest on our advocacy work, or peruse our easements, preservation projects, historic district or demolition review information. Need help at home? We offer a contractor resource list exclusively for our members.
